Wildfire: Deleting a datum created in a drawing

I created a datum plane in a drawing. I deleted the drawing and created a new one, using the same part. Now I can't get rid of this datum plane at all. There is no option to delete it in part mode. It will let me erase it in drawing mode, but it is still there when I check the model tree and the part. Any suggestions?

I found that if a datum is linked to a geometric tolerance that the association must be broken before the datum can be deleted.
