I'm on W3 F00, and I didn't experience such behavior. Actually when you move component it become slow but because of The assumed constraint position, hopefully this might be config option to turn of (I must check this).


As for Solved WF4, this is from PTC TAN 132590:
Description

When defining the assembly constraints for a component, if the component is moved and dropped to a new location, the graphics display generates wireframes for each sub-component, causing performance degradation.</DIV>


Resolution

This issue will be resolved in a future build of Pro/ENGINEER.
