I am looking to get started with CNC work and want to know a good place or book/manual to get started with. Can someone help me out with this? It would be greatly appreciated.

There are some decent pdf's on PTC's Tech Support page. It is enough to get you started, at least. There are also some tutorials at PTC's site, as well as others.
You'll need an active maintenance account with PTC to access the following link: http://www.ptc.com/cs/cs_25/howto/gim7903/amt7903.htm
that doesn't seem to bad. I am going to have to try this out at home. Unfortunately, my work PC doesn't have the licensing for this, but my home PC does, but has a serious virus on it right now that i have to focus on.
I do thank you for this run down. It seems very straight forward. I will get back to you when i get my PC straight and i get through this little excercise.
