volume mill

Hey


I have a question, if anyone can help. I am doing a volume mill on a rectanguler block to remove .25 inch from the workpiece. I understand it leaves material on the 4 corners which look like columns. How do i take off this extra material? I'd really appreciate if anyone could spare some time.

You might try offsetting the edges of your volume away from the part. There is also a facemill function that works quite well.
