Correct - you need to buy the Machine Simulation option from CGTech (the makers of Vericut).
The embedded version will only process the NCL (APT) file. Also, you will then need to define your machine with a machine and control (.mch and .ctl) file. Figure on about $10,000 US for Machine Simulation.
