The WF4 VB API has the same core functionality as the Pro/WebLink and
J-Link API's. I can tell you from experience with those API's that the
VB API is not something you'll be able to jump in and use instantly.
Getting familiar with the API takes time. I think perhaps there are not
a lot of users who have the time to learn the API. You may not see too
many discussing it for a while.
I forgot to mention, you don't have to wait for WF4 to use VB with Pro/ENGINEER: WebLink: What is it anyway
You are limited to running application from within the embedded web browser, but
you can still transfer data to and from other applications that support a COM
interface, such as Excel, Word, Lotus Notes, etc.
