Upgrading from WildFire 1.0 to WF2.0

I am using WildFire 1.0 and would like to upgrade to WildFire 2.0.

Is there a disadvantage when installing WF2.0 'next' to WF1.0 (in another directory) ?
If possible, I wouldprefer to keep WF1.0 on the side for a few weeks, just in case ...

If not, would you recommend to uninstall WF1.0 first or to simply overwrite it (install WF2.0 in the same directory as WF1.0) ?

Kind regards
Eddy

You can keep WF 1.0 installation and install WF 2.0 in a different directory.

Overwriting WF 2.0 in the same directory as WF 1.0 would help you such that you will have your config.pro file and appearance.dmt file conserved.

You can copy these files and then install WF 2.0 after deleting WF 1.0 and after you install WF 2.0 paste the copied files to the desired postions.

I always have several versions of Pro/E installed. It causes no problems and you can even run more than one at once provided you have the licenses.
