Hi, if you have a fully revolved section then you need to create a rip first (basically sketch a straight line cutting through the part edge to edge)
Insert > Shape > Rip > Regular Rip
and then create your Unbend feature, referencing the edge that was created by the rip feature.
Here is an example of a revolved cone shape, see the following imagesView attachment 4745.
1 See the fully revolved first wall cone
2 Create the Rip feature, sketching a line as shown in image #2
3 This is the result of the Rip feature, it creates a new edge
4 Lastly, you can create the Unbend feature referencing that edge to unbend from View attachment 4746 View attachment 4747 View attachment 4748
