"unable to triangulate" error making STL

Just when I finished my nice part that I've been working on forever, andgo to make STL out of it to send off for prototype, Pro/E tells me it can't do it because it can't triangulate a couple portions of my model.

Anyone had Pro/E not be able to make an STL of their part because it is "unable to triangulate" something? Is there any way of getting around this besides modifying the design of your part?

Ive not has that error before. I did have a different error a couple of days ago when trying to create an STL though. Trying to prototype in SLS / SLA etc ?... if so, I saved mine as a IGES - solids... and it worked.

I have a systematic approach to solving that issue.

1. If adjusting the cord and angle does not work... Determine where the problem area is. Usually the problem is at a divergent surface or a surface edge that does not align appropriately to another joining surface edge. I could detail one approach for determining this problem area.

2 Once the problem area is determined, make a plan to solve by either reworking the problem area or use a surface patch for a quick fix.

I usually output at 0 chord height and 0 Angle control (entering in these values takes it down to the lowest possible value) If that doesnt work I will gradually increase my angle control til it does work.
