Turn elliptical rad-no circle output?

Folks-


Turning a elliptical radius - can't get Pro to ouput circle data. Have corner finish type = fillet, circ_interpolation = arc only, number of arc point=1 I'vechanged the cir_interpolation params to every choice & it has no effect

While machining just a radius these params change the cl output.


Any ideas?

Use curve fit in Gpost !


Are you turning or milling


I am not sure about turning


In the milling You need curve fitmapkeys and gpost macroson ptc website


It is the only way

I'm turning. I changed my tol in the sequence to .0001, this created 3x more points in output, to create a nice finish. I guess you don't get circle or arc data with elliptical feature while turning.
