Can anybody let me know about a way to translate Catia V5 files to Solidworks..... i would appreciate your timely help.... it is very urgent..... the files sizes are 150MB and above....
You need to either use a neutral format such as iges or step (i think that stp is a add on for catia 5) If you want something more reliable you need to use a 3rd party translation software Transmagic has a free 5 day trial that I was impressed with. There are also several translation services you can use that will translate the data for a fee, many of them can do the translation overnight. I can't remember the names of those but a google search should get you there.
