It is a function of your graphics card and hard coded programming. The 15 windows is a hardcoded limit. If it is less than that, then it is a graphics card issue.
Why on earth would you want 15 windows open anyway? Seems like a waste of CPU resources when you can really only work in one window at a time at a time. Unless maybe you have dual monitors and then I could see having two windows open.To each their own I guess.
I often have to plot many drawings out, and might have an actual assembly with a few components I'm working on open at the same time...Once I open and plot 15 drawings, (or however many it takes to reach the 15 windows) I have to close all of those (without closing my assembly, and then load the next drawings.
