I have problem with Text command in Inventor drawings.


Text Command doesn't work anymore.


When I press OK the text I've typed in the box disappear.

We just got notified by our CAD Manager about something similar to this.


I hope this can help you:
Inventor 11 and Windows Hot Fix<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" />

If you are having a problem when you try to add text to a (idw) drawing or edit the dimension text and nothing shows up or changes.
You need to Uninstall Microsoft's hotfix # KB918118.

To go to control panel
Then to add & remove programs
Click on show updates
Scroll down and find hotfix KB918118 and remove.
This should fix your problem.

Don't forget to set Automatic update to notify before installing. Otherwise
it will happen again.
