Hello !
In a part I need to remove material (using a mill machine). The section is a rectangle. The cut must follow a curved path. Exactly as SWEPT feature but I wish to REMOVE material, not to add.
Can someone teach me "how to" ?
Unless I am misunderstanding you, all you have to do is use the swept cut feature. Works the exact same as the swept feature but removes material instead of adds. It is found here:Insert-Cut-Sweep
Thank you for reply, Jamie White.
I know that your answer is good. Today I work something in a SW 2010 platform and I see this feature (SWEPT CUT). Indeed this feature make my job. But, on my PC, I use 2007 platform (yet, because my system crash if I use a newer version) and the SWEPT CUT feature do not exist. I think that the solution for me (2007 version) is to use COMBINE tool.
I'll see.
Thank you again for reply
