Hey Everyone,

I am a student who have is familiar with solidworks and
autocad. I just recently read up on creo when thinking
about learning up pro/e to stay on the job market good
side. By any chance would i be able to pick up a pro/e
book and still learn all the functions in creo? Creo
books are still new and very expensive. Any direction
will be helpful pertaining to books or tutorials.

Thanks in advance.

It's basically the layout of the program that differs
between Wildfire and Creo.

Sure there are improvements and new functionality in
Creo but for basic mechanical and parts design the
different aren't that big.

If you aim to learn the fundamental design philosophy of
Creo/ProE then a textbook from wildfire will do.

As you already know solidworks I think you could learn Creo fast without using any textbook. You could use Creo help.Because once you are familiar with one design software, it is very easy to learn other as you only need to locate commands in new software.
