STEP files from Teamcenter to Pro/E

Using Wildfire 3.0: I have a large assembly in VisMockup. Half of the data originated in Pro/E (exported to JT) and the other halffrom UG NX6 (exported to JT). When I try to export a STEP file of the data that originated in UG and import it into Pro/E, many of the components lose their assembly location and pile up at the default coordinate system. Does anyone have an idea what is causing this?
