Startup directory not default working dir

I know this problem has come up and I have tried a few things with little in the form of results. I just reinstalled Wildfire 2.0 M200 for testing. The startup directory should be the default working directory correct? Well it is not, I go into ProE and the default working directory is 'my documents\my name', this is more than annoying because when I go to open again that is the location. I can set the working directory but once I restart ProE it is back to the same stuff. I have set the following in my config.pro

pro_gplug_dir C:\usr\ptc_apps\Wildfire2.0_M200\i486_nt\lib
suppress_license_loss_dialog yes
file_open_default_folder working_directory
start_model_dir C:\Proe\Wildire2.0_M200
trail_dir C:\Proe\Wildire2.0_M200\trail

Any ideas what might be going on?

The Start in directory was set to use the user environment variable but I guess it did not like this, I changed the directory, it is still not exactly what I want but a lot better. Thanks, I had tried this but I think the bug is one of those ProE does not like the path things.

There is a config.pro setting for setting the working directory.

FILE_OPEN_DEFAULT_FOLDER

has the following options:

DEFAULT, WORKING_DIRECTORY, IN_SESSION, PRO_LIBRARY

I didn't quite follow these steps which one of these directories do I alter the file in I have 2 config.pro files.

F:\proeWildfire\jlink\jlink_appls\jlink_elev
F:\proeWildfire\jlink\jlink_appls\jlink_param

Which one do I alter? ( elev= student )

You need to set the startup directory when you run the ptcsetup in the bin directory, you can use a variable but need to use a $ before the variable I believe, I cannot remember off the top of my head.
Also make sure that there are no weird or spaces in the path for some reason Pro does not like that yet it will default to your default windows home dir that has spaces!
