Springs

Sidemout

New member
I would like to show a spring in an assembly. Is there a way to show the spring in it's actual length during operation? I would like to position the part it is attached to, and watch the spring do it's thing. This will create an infinite resolution for the length.

Also, is it possible to make a flexible web? That will change it's shape around shafts as I move the mechanism?

Thanks!!!

I saw flexible parts demonstrated in WF so it's in there but I don't know how to do it myself. Before WF it was necessary to use family tables and relations to get the spring to show up in different states. That only gave you static states, not the continously variable kind you want.
