You asked an easy question with a very difficult answer.



What trajectory does your EDM follow as it burns the part? What is your spark gap?



You can offset surfaces of the part to create your electrode. But the geometry won't be correct if your electrode follows an orbital path.



I'm not an electrode guru, so I can't give you an accurate answer. Maybe if you provide a little more information, some of the mold people can help you out.
