Hey all; first time user, please bear with me
So I am at a new job using the SolidWorks PDM, and I have run into a few problems. I have admin priveleges and I am issuing a new BOMon a huge project; but to begin with what I want to is give every component a six-digit number and reset the revision numbers.
So what I have been doing is checking out the entire project, then within the explorer manually setting each value to either zero (for the revision number) or else manually inputting automatically generated (i.e. unique) ID numebrs.
So here is the issue: every time I check the project in and out, it is adding spaces in front of the ID number, and the revision numbers are sporadically reappearing. I can't make them disappear! Very frustrating. Is this a program bug or am I just an idiot?
Any help is appreciated!
