sketching using datum curves

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to sketch a curve from an equation in cylindrical coordinates. I can do the datum curve, but I'm trying to sketch the curve exactly as the datum curve. With the spline, I can only aproximate the curve, with too many reference points...

Is there a way to sketch the line using the same equation??

Can anyone help me out??

If you already have the datum curve can you use edge in sketcher mode?

Iam not exactly sure what you are trying to do.

I know nothing about equations in pro.
