Showing dimensions at part and assembly mode???

New member
Hello guys!

I would like to show chosen dimensions in the part or assembly mode so I can create pictures of it in the shaded mode. Even maybe “add/create“ desired dimensions.

(Pictures are often asked for reports and documentations…)

While in the shaded mode, right click on the model tree on the particular feature and choose MODIFY. The dimensions will show up. You can export the image as a TIF and the dimension will show. Use DimCosmetics to move the dimensions to a better location if necessary. Also, if the screen font is too small and does not export clearly, use the line TEXT_HEIGHT_FACTOR to increase the font size (you'll have to restart Pro-e for it to take effect. It's one of those undocumented features!)
