Guys,
I need to convert an assemblies worth of sheet metal
parts' rips to pretty rounds.
Specifically, I have several parts that have rips in the
corners, and I have my sheetmetal vendor weld those and
grind them to a radius...
All this is great, but now I need to LSN print an
artistic model. If I sent sheetmetal files to the
printers, I get ramparted corners. The printer will not
add anything to geometry we send them. (Pro Weld just
puts a surface patch in there, and isn't translated to
the STL files either.)
So any body know a quick and easy way to blast in
radiused corners into a sheetmetal rips without me having
to go and re-make all the chassis parts?
Any help appreciated,
Dave
