Sheet metal using lofted features

I am trying to create a fairly unique shaped part. It is a series of points attached into a spline to create a long sweeping curve. It is then needed to angle and project out similar to a shape of an awning. I can create all of my sketches and form a loft very simply but I have been unable to figure out a way to make this into a flattened sheet metal part. I will try to attach the simple version of the part for reference.

Not having any luck attaching a part or picture or anything.

If you create sketch using spline, it can not flattened.


So instead of spline use arc to create sketch.
