Search path problems

I have created some drawing formats that I keep in a sub-directory which I have added to the search path. However, whenever I load a drawing with one of the formats, Pro/E can't locate the format.



I have the same problem with a part file that is also in a directory on the search path.



What is going on and how can I make it work properly?

Set the config option pro_format_dir to the directory with the formats. I think Pro/E will only look in this directory and the working directory for formats, not the rest of the directories on the search path.



If Pro/E does not find a part on your search path then either the search path is incorrect, the part name is incorrect or the config.pro file is not getting loaded. If you are getting the part but it is not the correct one then you have more than one part with the same name in your database.
