scripting pro/E with perl

Is there anyone on here that I can contact regarding scripting with perl to craete copies, save as, and backup files in pro/E.

Is there anyone here who has done this?

Are you using a PDM system and if so, which one? Do you want the copies, etc within the PDM or external?
