Save assembly to IGES

Is it possible to export an assembly into a single IGES file, as if it was a single solid?

Saving as a single PRT feature would also be cool...

Thanks in advance

save it as .iges

Export IGES window appears

select soild (if u want your new part to be solid)

and click ok

now open the saved IGES as part file.

Hi sanjeevkar1,

Thanks for the reply.
I managed to export my asm into a IGES file, but the file is 150mb (it's a machining center).

Do you know any tricks to reduce the file size?

Thanks.

you shouldsuppress all the feature before saving it to iges.that'll work.
