Rubber in Pro/Mechanica?

Hi all,

I want to do a simple problem in Pro/Mechanica. just conpressing a piece of rubber with it's bottom face fixed.

Rubber is hyperelastic material ( i guess). Can we define its properties in PM?

If anybody knows, Please help me.

Thanks

Rubber is a non-linear material, and material non-linearities are not allowed in Mechanica. You need ANSYS or ABAQUS for such types of materials.

If it makes you feel any better WF 4 is rumored to support non-linear material properties. I've heard it's taken a while due to the p-elements. For now Machanica is the wrong tool.
