RELATIONS DEALING W/COMPONENTS

Is it possible to create a relation (in an assembly) that wouldallow a component to exist or not? I know I can do this using instances ina family table, butif it is at all possible, I wouldlike tousea relation of some sort.

Yes, you can use Pro/Program to do this. Its fairly easy, check with the online manuals.


You can use params or relations to control the components (as well as features in part mode and drawing states in drw mode)


Like this:

Add component...
...
endif
