regeneration slow

hello,
regeneration is very slow in assembly and drawing. i have this problem when rgenerating an assembly witch contains just 30 component..and when doing its drawing, this regenerate more slow.
is there some config options to set???
Intel core quad 6600; 2.4 GHZ; RAM 2G; SO windows XP 2002; Nvidia quadro FX 3500 256 Mb.

do you have both the drawing and assembly up? Sometimes i have noticed a little slow down when I have both object up. When you regen the assembly the drawing view also want to update taking more time. I usually get all my model work done then open the drawing.

Did a little experimenting with this myself. Open ur config.pro file and take out all the options and add only the most essential. If this improves speed, then you need to trim ur .pro file. I was having, literally, 300Mississippi regenerations.


Of course make a copy of ur .pro file first
