Problem with Run

Dear Friends,


First time I am practicing Mechanica.I applied all lods and constraints.In Mech struct menu, the option RUN is there but it is disabling.I am not understanding the problem.Please help me regarding this.I am working 2001 version.

hi ramu,


before you can do the run , you have to define the analysis. only then the run is highlighted. Since you are a begginer, i suggest you see some basic tutorials. you can get alot online for free. here's one such link:

You can learn the basics using mechanica's own help integrated in the software on the menu bar. Sarita is right that you have not probably defined an analysis yet. Or, although you can define all loads and constraints as well as mesh your model under FEM mode, you are not allowed to run an analysis. So make sure you are working under Integrated Mechanica Mode of Pro/E, or standalone Mechanica.
