Problem w/ Mechanism Recognizing Servo

I am using mechanism to display the motion of a suspension and am runing into the following proble.


When I add the servo and specify its driven entity as a point or plane it will not show up on the analysis as a posible motor to add. I can only add it when it is aplied to a joint axis.


I would really appreciate some insigt on this matter.
 
Point plane servo is well explaned in ptc mechanism docmentation. The example there is hand pump.
