Pro\program input string!!

I would like to input by text a string instead of a
number..

Pro\program

TBNC30HS NUMBER (string there instead of a number)

How can i do this?

Just checked in WF5 and it works. Just a personal preference, but I would rather use a number for the input than a string, and give choices for number. I have had issues where the string was entered incorrectly that have caused problems down the road.

What I want is find a way to rename all my assembly,
piece by piece with a trail file. Is it possible ? I
tought I could copy/paste the parameter to rename the
beginning of my file but it doesn't work.

Rename:
shipshaw_p1_r1_0 ->wanapum_p1_r1_0
shipshaw_p2_r1_0 ->wanapum_p2_r1_0

I have about 40 parts.

Rename parameters in the assembly? Or rename the individual parts? If you want to rename the parts save a copy of the top level assembly, and you should be asked if you want to rename the parts as well, or reuse them. I believe you can also do a global rename this way where you can say "old_name" = "new_name" if they all have a common aspect you wish to change.


Renaming parameters? Not sure there is an easy way other than manually creating the new parameters.
