pro engineer - so much more to it than industrial products?

Why is pro engineer promoted as an industrial designer, when there is so much more it can do? With organic forms and patterns, geometric puzzles??



You always see the design of products such as drills, cameras but never that of a egg whisk? or jewellery why??

A lot of that stuff is made overseas where they build tooling from jpegs (well almost).

I have clients that wont pay for cad and build everything from pdfs with overall dims.

Sad but true.

Would you employ a high-dollar Pro/E Designer to design an egg whisk ??
