Hi guys

Any body who cal solve this problem? This is the 5-axis related problem.I have tried to machine the part using Pro-E, There is to much rotation of the C-axis, but what Pro-E did, when the value of C-Axis reached to 10,000 degree, it suddenly reset the values of C-Axis to zero and and again starts the values of C-Axis in ascending order.

But actually was in the *.NCL file the values of C-axis goes to 30,000 degrees for the complete machining of the part.

help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Open the post processor that you need to fix. On "Machine Tool Type" section, select the tab that has the "C" axis. Make sure that the "C" axis is defined at "-n and +n n=max departure of rotary".

Now, on the "Axis" tab, make sure that the limits for the "C" axis are greater than 30,000.

Now on the "File formats" section, pick "MCD File". Then pick on the "C" in the ADDR column. Make sure that the "C" word is defined with 5 digits left of the decimal point.

I hope this helps.

Hi allanP

I have done all kind of stuff like this but this is not working, my opinion is that this is not the G-POST problem, this may be fixed by FIL Macro, if you can make some help in this regard then please.

I am sending you the *.ncl file so that you can check this.

I have bring this thing in the notice of PTC people now let see when they fix this problem.

I'm with Alan on this one. Why do you say it doesn't work? Can you elaborate on what you're trying to machine?

Thanks,
