Patterning along a spline

Can anyone give me a direction on how to pattern a feature along a spline? I created this eliptical rib as a sweep through a datum curve that I would like to now pattern along. Thanks in advance.

try to create the rib with a point as reference, then pattern the point.

Reference pattern and you have the result

Yeah, in 2001, you'll want to create a datum point On Curve using either the Length Ratio or Actual Distance options so that you get a dimension you can use as the patterning dimension. Pattern the point, then Reference Pattern.

In Wildfire, though, this is tons easier. Just pattern the elliptical rib using the Fill > Curve option and specify the spacing. Patterning is so much easier in WF.
