mcgowanp I know this ...my example is the simple one...in another I have to make a pattern of near 200...so I cannot make pattern as table..losing time.
I'm asking how to edit relation using memb_i and idx1....

Basically what you need to do is go into the pattern and under increment you can define by relation. idx1 starts at zero for the first member and increments by 1 for each additional instance of the pattern. So, in the case you described in the beggining of this thread (1mm, .9mm, .8mm, etc.) your formula would look something like this:

memb_i=(10-idx1)/10

Hope that makes sense.

I have not got the option which spidernate has mentioned above (I am using wildfire 2.0) pl guide...

In the pattern definition select the Dimension tab. Select the dimension in the list and the check box under the list area will become selectable. Select the check box and then the edit button. This will open a *.rel file in notepad (WF2 and WF3) where you type your relations. WF4 opens the relations dialog box.
