Opening SW 2008 model in 2007?

Can you open a SW2008 model in SW2007? Or can you save a model in 2008 version as a 2007 version?

I have a model to draw, but only have access to Solidworks 2008 at the moment, but the version at work is Solidworks 2007, and I don't really want to waste my bank holiday working when it will all be for nothing!

No, you cannot save to a previous version of the software. There is no backwards compatibility, the only thing you can do is parasolid the file out, but then you lose all the features.
