NX3.0 Installation?

Hi All


I'm trying to Install UGNX3.0 on my Laptop windows XP, with NTFS file system.


my hostname is: mycomputer


During Installation by default it is selecting 27000@mycomputer as server name, when I click next to continue with installation process, the following error is displayed.


CONNECTION TO LICENSE SERVER MACHINE MYCOMPUTER FAILED. ENTER A VALID LICENSE SERVER ( I couldn't continue the Installation and simply exit the setup due to this error)

I made several attempts to Install,verifying the hostname for my system it is MYCOMPUTER & It is correct. Then why is the above error?

Do you have the FlexLM license manager installed on the lapop?

Yes, FlexLM is Installed, The license server start is successful, ugnx3.lic file reading is successful.


but when Im installing the program, the setup couldn't continue further installation due theerror:


CONNECTION TO LICENSE SERVER MACHINE MYCOMPUTER FAILED. ENTER A VALID LICENSE SERVER

Do you have 2 NIC cards on the laptop? We have had problems in the past where FlexLM is reading the wrong one from the NX side of things. From the FlexLM side, everything looks fine.
