Alright guys I am new here and Im not even sure if I am posting this in the right place. Im here because I like building my own projects and I like to be different than everybody else. I rather build it than by it.
The project I need help with is something that isnt out on the market. I need these because my door opening sits at nice low highth of 44" off of the ground. So I am trying to build a step for my jeep project that will fold down when the door is open then fold back up. Now I know there are products out there like that but the problem is that they dont fold up and out of harms way. Here are a few pics of my project and what I have to work with....... Iwas thinking of using an actuator of some type?
