Nits to Pick

There are several places where one can create new 'states' or 'conditions', for lack of better temrs. For example, the family table editor, the view manager and the mechanism snapshot dialog. None operate in the same way and none of them can be called 'intuitive'.

Some sheetmetal nits;

<ul>[*]In non-sheetmetal features, access to the sketch is under the first tab, named 'placement'. In sheet metal walls, the first tab is named placement, but sketch access is on the second tab, 'profile'.[*]In standard features when redefining, clicking on the 'sketch' button takes you right into the sketch. Same is true in flat walls, but swept walls make you go through the sketch setup dialog every time first.

Error and informational messages displayed in the message area are frequently 2-4 lines, with the most important bit of info not in the last line. However, once the dashboard appears the message area is reduced to a single line, and the important info is obscured. The config option 'visible_message_lines' seems to have no effect on this.

That sounds a little trivial at first, but there are many times that I've wondered if it actually started or not because the delay was so long.
