I'm new to ProE and am having trouble creating a new coordinate system in an assemby of a vehicle. I want to export each part as an .stl file with respect to a single coordinate. In my case, the new coordinate should be next to the front tire of the vehicle.
I have tried using the offset csys tool to create a datum point at the front tire, then create the csys at that point, but the OK box is greyed out. If I use the Csys tool from the start, I cannot select three faces, edges, etc. to make the point align with the front tire.
I may be doing this completelywrong as I have extremely limited knowledge of ProE. Thanks for any help.
EDIT: I haveresolved my problem. For any others who have this issue, you must orientate the CSys manually by selecting theOrienatation tab then pick two edges for the CSys to reference.
