I would like to build a skeleton for a complex model that will take advantage of mechanism so components can be dragged in the assembly, but I also want to be able to drive the position from input parameters. This would mean that you could drag the machine to any position, but when you hit the regenerate button you have the option of entering values, which will then return the components to those values. The reason for doing this is so I can drive some critical dimensions and motion limits from a skeleton, but still have the flexibility to drag components. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
