Modeling a formed assembly?

New member
I am currently in the process of modeling a sheet metal assembly. The problem is that it requires a feature to be created that is essentially a form operation at the assembly level, as opposed to the part level. The component parts of the assembly are sheet metal. The feature I require is much like an assembled snap joint (like as used in a piece of clothing - i.e. jacket). Is there a way to create a two part form with a top and bottom die? What about the assembly issue? To further define the feature, it is like a drawn cup in a cup (2 material layers). Any help offered would be appreciated.

Thanks!
