Maximizing Wildfire at startup

Thank you very much "robertib" I could not find that even in the find command in the config.pro options.

Thank again.

Think I found this at proe.com. Hope it helps.

Maximising the Wildfire Window on Startup

By Edwin Muirhead, CADmin

Wildfire uses a lot fewer righthand menus than older versions, leaving
more screen area available for modelling. For this reason, you may like
to start up Pro/E with a maximised screen. Windows startup settings and
Pro/E menu/window settings have no way to maximise the screen, but you
can do it using a trail file:

Copy this text into a text editor & store in your Pro/E startup folder as max.txt:

!trail file version No. 1255

!Pro/ENGINEER TM Wildfire

~ Activate `main_dlg_cur` `main_dlg_cur`

~ Resize `main_dlg_cur` `main_dlg_cur` \

4 -0.109482 -0.109482 35.034213 26.740958

~ Move `main_dlg_cur` `main_dlg_cur` \

2 -0.109482 -0.109482

< 0 1.000000

Edit the Pro/E shortcut file with the trail file as an argument appended to the target, eg:

"C:\Program Files\proeWildfire 2.0\bin\proe.exe" max.txt

Note: This particular text file works on my system - you may need to tweak it for yours... or just

make your own:

1 - Start Wildfire as normal

2 - Maximise the window

3 - Exit Pro/E

4 - Edit the trail.txt.1 file: remove the Exit / Close commands and save as max.txt

Thanks for letting us know about that solution. I wrote the article mentioned, and this new config option is definitely an easier way!
