My company is contemplating the use of matrix drawings for all of our standard fasteners instead of creating individual drawings. If anyone has been down this road, I would be interested in hear any success of horror stories.
I assume you are using Family Tables and Letter/Symbol Dims?
They work great!
You must just make sure that Pro/INTRALINK can handle the dependencies and also have some way to track multiple P/Ns on the same drawing (parameters can usually solve this).
I am not sure how a PDM system would handle this - meaning understanding what is there and how it is related to other designs. We work with multiple PDM Systems, they all have their little workarounds for these kinds of drawings.
