Making text colours independent of edge colours?

Why is of colour of some of the surface edges the same as the letter colour? If I change the letter colour in the View - Dsiplay Settings - System Colours menu the colour of these edges also changes.



How do I make the two colours independent?



I am using Pro/Engineer 2001 Student edition.

You can change the color of text in a drawing to any of the system colors or a user defined color. You will have to do this for all text but it is easy to do. In drawing mode pick: Modify/Text/Text Style/Pick Many/Done Select. Pick on the color box and then choose a system color or define a new one.
