Long File Names, Family Table Preview

Twosimple requests.


1) Long File Names. Whether it's a directory or part name or assembly name, whatever.


I should be able to use a long as I desire file name for anything.


2)If I have a family table open, and I click on an instance, I would like to see a preview of that instance.


Is PTC listening?

Not when you pick an instance from the family table.

when you highlight the instance in a family table you can click the glasses icon to get a preview of that instance. Let me know if you still cannot find the preview.

Not when you pick an instance from the family table.

When I open a family table part I always open the generic to have the access to open as many isntances as I want. I then click on tools. family table, which opens up the family table. I then click tools, preview to preview the selected instance from the family table (there is also a icon which does the same).

I didn't realize the glasses icon was for a preview.
