Loft & Sweep

Hi all,


I have a doubt that is there any command like "loft" in UG? If yes, then how it differs from sweep? I got this question in an interview,please help me & clarify my doubt

Yes Nx has that functionality, But its named as mesh surface. It can blend two different section from different plane. check help for more details.

there are some commands in ug which does same as loft, this command loft is there in solid works, with the help of loft command you can creat to a solid or sheet with two diffrent proflies,, say like you have circular and rectangle profile, if you want to creat a solid with these cross section, you can use loft and creat solid, similary in U.G you have swept , through curver mesh, ruled extra...


still if your are not clear what is loft, both loft and sweep are same//
