knock out design

does anybody have any information on proper knock out design for a sheet metal enclosure? I'm not a sheet metal designer but I have a simple box that requires a knock out and I'd at least like to use something that is right rather than just looks right.

clearly I don't need to know anything proprietary but I figure there must be some standard out there for knock out design that I haven't found yet.

Michael,


You can create a knockout by creating a form.


Insert, Shape, Form


You will have to create the form in the shape of the knockout and them assemble it into your part.
